Poker, 25, or try a board game – Countdown, Dingbats, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble (De Luxe Edition), chess, Ludo, or SNOOKER and TABLE TENNIS. Have a tasty supper too, all for Admission E5.

l0th 45TH BIRTHDAY DINNER-DANCE at MAPLES HOTEL,

Iona Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, at 7.45 for 8pm. 

Enjoy a 4-course meal, Birthday Cake, Raffle and Spot Prizes, dance to music by Pat O’Neill’s Band. This is the highlight of the Club’s festive occasions. Don’t miss it.

l7th FILM “BRINGING UP BABY” starting at 8.30pm. 

Regarded as “one of the best screwball comedies”, with Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn and Barry Fitzgerald.(‘Baby’ is a pet, not a child.) A nice supper will follow.

24th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at 8.30pm. 

All members are invited to come and take part, arranging the running of YOUR CLUB for the next year, by discussing relevant issues and voting to elect the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.   

Followed by GAMES and CARDS at 8.30pm.

Play some of our large selection of Board Games, or your choice of Card Games. There will be a fine supper also. 

3lst “COME-ALL-YE” at 8.30pm. 

Your hostess Cait Clynch will invite you to sing, play a tune, read or recite a poem or tell a story; she’ll serve a delicious supper too. Admission E5.

we take a break at present,

but table tennis, pool and snooker players can indulge themselves on our Saturday Games Nights.

THURSDAYS 

8TH AND 22ND TABLE QUIZZES at 8.30pm. 

€16 for a table for 4; there’s a CASH PRIZE for winners and a and  PRIZE for the FUNNIEST WRONG ANSWER. Bring a team, or come on your own and join with others there. Easy questions, plus TEA and REFRESHMENTS, fun for everyone – all for E4.
