We continue our Club activities in our comfortable central home, the EARL RESTAURANT, North Earl St., home of fine meals and snacks daily from 8am to 5.30pm. Come and treat yourself there some day.

The Club will celebrate its ANNUAL BIRTHDAY DINNER DANCE IN MAPLES HOUSE HOTEL, IONA ROAD,GLASNEVIN, on SATURDAY OCTOBER l0th, DV. WE’LL HAVE A LOVELY 4-COURSE MEAL and a BIRTHDAY CAKE, Raffle and Spot

Prizes, followed by dancing to the music of PAT O’NEILL’S BAND, much enjoyed in recent years, in a warm friendly atmosphere. The price remains E40.This is the Club’s most exciting event. TO BOOK, GIVE YOUR NAME TO ANY MEMBER OF THE COMMITTEE, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, PLEASE, with a deposit, if you wish. YOUR FRIENDS WILL BE VERY WELCOME, TOO.

Our Annual General Meeting is on SAT OCT 24th at 8.30pm, before Cards and Games. Members present will elect a new Executive Committee to help run the Club for 20l5/l6. A form is enclosed on which to nominate a member to the Committee. You may propose ONE member only, but you can second more than one, and ask other members to nominate those who are willing to serve, attend monthly meetings and help organise and/or run functions. Proposals on the Club’s future are made and decisions which may have far-reaching effects. The VIEWS OF EVERY MEMBER are needed so the decisions will represent YOUR wishes, so come to the AGM and express them. NO ONE ELSE CAN TAKE YOUR PLACE. The CLOSING DATE for nominations is SAT OCTOBER l7th. NOMINATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE AGM. Please hand completed form to a member of the present Committee.
