Our Club activities continue in our central venue,

26 North Earl Street (the EARL RESTAURANT, where

fine food and delicious meals are served from 8am

to 5.30pm.) Why not indulge yourself there?

 

The Club will celebrate its 44th ANNUAL BIRTHDAY

DINNER-DANCE in MAPLES HOUSE HOTEL, IONA ROAD,

GLASNEVIN, DUBLIN 9, on SATURDAY OCTOBER l8th, DV.

We’ll have a 4-course meal, Cait Clynch’s gorgeous

BIRTHDAY CAKE, music by Pat O’Neill’s Band - very

popular last year - Spot Prizes and Raffle, and a

warm friendly atmosphere. Tickets, still E40, from

Committee members, by instalment, if you like.

Please book as soon as you can; your friends will

be welcome too - the more the merrier.

 

 

OUR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on SAT OCT

25th at 8.30 pm, before the Come-All-Ye. Members

present will elect a new Executive Committee to

help run the Club for 20l4/l5. A form is enclosed

on which to nominate a member to the Committee.

You may propose ONE member only, but you can

second more than one, and ask other members to

nominate those who are willing to serve, attend

monthly meetings and help organise and/or run

 

 

functions. Proposals on the Club’s future are made

and decisions taken which may have far-reaching

effects. The VIEWS OF EVERY MEMBER are needed so

those decisions will represent YOUR wishes, so

come to the AGM and express them. No one else can

take YOUR place. The CLOSING DATE for nominations

is SAT OCT l8th. NOMINATIONS WIL NOT BE ACCEPTED

AT THE AGM. Please hand completed forms to any

member of the present Committee.
