Programme of Events November

In october ABC club marked its 41^st birthday with a very successful Dinner-Dance, and the AGM to run the Club for the next year.

Our most important occasion in November is the celebration of Mass in the club premises on the Feast of the Holy Souls, Wednesday November 2^nd. We asked all members who can ro come and help our “dear departed” the only way we can. We invite members and friends to attend the other Club events, enjoy yourselves and help the club too!

Saturdays

5^th Cards and Games at 8.30pm

choose 25, poker or board games – We have Trivial Pursuit, Countdown, Scrabble (deluxe edition), Dingbats, Ludo and Chess…. There will be a nice supper too, all for Adm. € 5

12^th Film "BRIEF ENCOUNTER" at 8.30pm

starring Tervor Howard and Celia Johnson. A very well-known movie from the golden age of British cinema, with some lovely music. A tasty supper will be served also, Adm € 5

19^th Cards and Games at 8.30pm

There's a large collection of games, take your pick. Enjoy a lovely supper as well. Adm € 5

26^th “COME-ALL-YE” at 8.30pm

Cait Clynch will invite you to sing, play a tune, recite or read a poem or tell a story.She always provides a delicious supper. No wonder it's the Club's most popular event! Adm. €5

Mondays

7th, 14th, 21th, 28th Table Tennis at 8.30pm,

Snooker, pool, Scrabble, Darts, chess or other board games, or come for a chat. Admission E3 includes tea and biscuits. Table tennis players are asked to wear suitable shoes to comply with Insurance Regulations.

Wednesdays

2^nd Mass for DECEASED MEMBERS, RELATIVES and FRIENDS starting at 8.30pm

celebrated by Fr.D.Blake. Please be sure to come. Tea and biscuits will be served. No door charge and will be followed by Executive Committee Meeting at 8.30pm

Thursday

10^th and 24^th Table Quiz at 8.30 pm.

E16 for a table for 4; there's a Cash Prize for winners and a Prize for the funniest wrong answer. Bring a team, or come on your own and join with others there. Plenty of easy questions; fun for all! Tea and biscuits included.

Fridays

4^th, 11^th, 18^th and the 25^th  Table Tennis, pool, snooker at 8.30pm

Please wear suitable footwear to comply with Insurance Regulations. Adm E3  tea and biscuits.
