PROGRAMME of EVENTS

SATURDAYS



2nd CARDS and GAMES at 8.30pm:


Poker, 25 or a board game or two; try Dingbats, Countdown, Scrabble (De Luxe Edition), Chinese Checkers, Ludo. Have a tasty supper, too. Admission €5.

9th FILM NIGHT; “THE MARK OF ZORRO” at 8.30pm,


starring Tyrone Power, Linda Darnell, Basil Rathbone, an exciting adventure story. Enjoy a delicious supper after it. Admission €5. COME EARLY SO YOU WON’T MISS ANYTHING.

l6th GAMES and CARDS at 8.30pm. 


Several games to try your hand at, as well as the familiar ones – you never know how much fun you can have till you “have a go”. There’ll be a lovely supper as well. Admission €5.

23rd MUSIC NIGHT at 8.30pm.


Bring a favourite CD or two, if you like, and listen to the choices others bring. You may even feel like dancing a little. Followed by a fine supper. Adm.€5.

30th “COME-ALL- YE” at 8.30pm.


Bean-a- Ti Cait Clynch will invite you to sing, play a tune, recite or read a poem or tell a story; you’ll enjoy what others do too. Her suppers are a wonderful treat also. Admission €5.

l0th ANNUAL BUS OUTING to CARLINGFORD, CO. LOUTH


Depart at llam from “Ann’s Bakery”, North Earl St., Dublin l, arriving back about 8pm. Savour a 4-course meal in Carlingford Arms, survey the attractive scenery before we go to Ardgillan Castle Gardens and grounds for a picnic/snack, if time allows. Bring comfortable shoes. Fare €35; to book, please give your name to a member of the Club Executive Committee as soon as possible.

6th EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING at 8.30pm.




THURSDAYS


7th TABLE QUIZ at 8.30pm. 


€16 for a table for 4; there’s a CASH PRIZE for winners and a PRIZE and for the FUNNIEST WRONG ANSWER. Bring a team, or come on your own and join with others there. Easy questions, TEA and REFRESHMENTS, fun for everyone – all for €4.
