REVIEW OF RECENT EVENTS

CHRISTMAS PARTY
There was a good turn-out at the Club's Christmas Party.  The colourful decorations and soft lighting created a very inviting party atmosphere, thanks to Tommy's artistic talents. Dancing commenced to lively music and songs duly played by DJ Paddy Kelly, who happily kept the merry sounds flowing throughout the evening.
Tommy went around with glasses of wine and orange juice to toast the spirit of the season. Later on there was a raffle with some very nice prizes for the lucky winners.
We had a lovely supper which consisted of a selection of tasty turkey and ham sandwiches, delicious mince pies,  Christmas pudding with whipped cream, and other goodies, not to forget Caít 's wonderful Christmas Cake, so if you'd been feeling a little peckish, you could really indulge yourself.
With candles glowing in the darkened room, to celebrate the happy and solemn occasion of the season, we ended a delightful evening with some Christmas Carols led by Paddy Kelly, accompanied on the Club's organ by Teresa Talbot.
Thanks to Caít for the wonderful baking, Tommy for the refreshing tea, and the Committee for making the evening so enjoyable.
