"June brought the roses - and you", the lovely old song tells us; we hope to see the roses in boom, and you, our members and friends, coming to the Club as often as possible, D.V., to enjoy its many events and attractions.

The Club's most important occasion this month is the Annual Bus Outing on Sunday 30th, a very successful feature of out Summers for many years. Our destination this time is Kilkenny city, with its historic and picturesque sights. The bus is to leave the Club at 11 am., and be back by about 8 pm, We'll have full lunch in a local Hotel, and after sight-seeing, with time to relax in the sunshine (with luck), we'll have a picnic in a suitable spot. It would be a good idea to bring you most comfortable shoes, and favorite snack for the picnic, or you may prefer to take 'pot luck' in a nice hostelry. The cost is €35, same as last year. Further details will be available in the \club soon, DV. To book your place, please give a deposit to any Committee member as soon as possible. Your friends will be very welcome too, so do invite them- as the saying is, "the more, the merrier"
