“White Easter” in this country are rare, thank God, if not impossible; furry hats may replace Easter Bonnets this year, but we hope the April shows will consist of rain and not snow!

6th  Cards and Games at 8.30pm

choose from our wide selection: 25, poker, or board games – Countdown, Ludo, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble (De Luxe Edition), Dingbats, Chess, Jigsaw....

A nice supper will be served. Admission €5

13^th Film 'THE WIZARD of OZ' starting at 8.30pm.

Come early so you won't miss any of this wonderful film, for the 'young at heart' of all ages, starring Judy Garland, with a great cast and terrific songs. Have a lovely supper, too, all for €5

20^th Games and Cards at 8.30pm

Plenty of games to play, according to your mood. Also delicious supper. Admission €5

27^th “Come-All-YE” at 8.30pm

Hostess Cait Clynch gives you an opportunity to sing, play a tune, read or recite a poem or tell a story. You'll enjoy the beautiful supper she provides as well. Admission €5

21^st Social Work Group visit Bell Villa (Home for the Elderly)

South Circular Road, Dublin 8.

We bring sweets, magazines and friendship. Meet at the Home's gate at 2.45pm. Any members wishing to join in this good work should contact Teresa Talbot so necessary arrangements can be made.

Monday

8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th  Table Tennis at 8.30pm

snooker, pool, Scrabble, chess, Bagatelle - a game new to most of us – or other board games, or come for a chat. Admission €5 includes tea and biscuits. Table tennis players are asked to wear suitable shoes to comply with Insurance Regulations.

Wednesday

3^rd Executive Committee Meeting at 8.30pm

Thursdays

4^th and 18^th Table quiz at 8.30pm

€16 for a table of 4; there's a Cash Prize for winners and a Prize for the Funniest Wrong Answer. Bring a team, or come on your own and join with others there. A lot of easy questions, and fun for all! Tea and biscuits included.

Fridays

5^th, 12^th, 19^th and 26^th    Table tennis, pool, Snooker at 8.30pm.
