It seems that, as soon as we've 'got over the Christmas', we're into Lent. On Ash Wednesday, February 13^th, we have Mass in the Club at 8.30pm, celebrated by Fr. Blake. Please be sure to come. Easter is early this year, let's hope St. Brigid will bring us a welcome Spring.

Saturdays

2^nd Cards and Games at 8.30pm

take your pick of 25, poker or board game – Countdown Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble (De Luxe Edition), Ludo, Dingbats, chess or a jigsaw. Enjoy the nice supper, also. Admission €5

9^th Film 'Harvey' starting at 8.30pm

starring James Stewart, with Josephine Hull in as Oscar-winning role. A unique, delightful, indescribable film- DON'T MISS IT. Have a lovely supper too, al for €5.

16^th St. Valentine Party starting at 9pm

Dance to Music of Maestros played by DJ cyril Hynes. Savour a delicious supper, a glass of wine or orange; maybe romance in the air?

Admission €7. Bring a friend, too.

23^rd “Come-All-YE” at 8.30pm

Cait Clynch, your hostess, give you the opportunity to sing, play a tune, read or recite a poem or tell a story; she will serve a terrific supper as well. Admission €5

Monday

4^th, 11^th,18^th & 25^th  Table Tennis at 8.30pm

snooker, pool, Scrabble, chess, Bagatelle - a gmae new to most of us – or other board games, or come for a chat. Admission €5 includes tea and biscuits. Table tennis players are asked to wear suitable shoes to comply with Insurance Regulations.

Wednesday

6^th Executive Committee Meeting at 8.30pm

13^th Ash WednesdayMass starting at 8.30pm celebrated by Fr. Declan Blake, with distribution of Blessed Ashes. Please come to this important occasion. No door charge; tea and biscuits served.

Thursdays

7^th and 21^st Table quiz at 8.30pm

€16 for a table of 4; there's a Cash Prize for winners and a Prize for the Funniest Wrong Answer. Bring a team, or come on your own and join with others there. A lot of easy questions, and fun for all! Tea and biscuits included.

Fridays

1^st, 8^th , 15^th and 22^nd Table tennis, pool, Snooker at 8.30pm.
