June will be a busy time, with the Eucharistic Congress in Dubn the Olympics in London, the World cup, and Holidays. We have a full set of events in the Club, do join in whenever you can.

Our Annual Bus outing is planned for sunday july 1^st. The venues are Huntington Castle and Altamont Gardens in Carlow, with a 3 Course meal in Bunlody. The bus will leave the club at 11am, D.V., and be back by around 9pm. We'll have a guided tour of the historic Castle, which has a Temple of the Egyptian goddess Isis, and view champion trees in the gardens. At Altamont we can admire lovely flowers and the River Slaney which runs nearby. Bring a picnic meal for the evening, and comfortable shoes to make the walks enjoyable. The cost is €35, same ad last year. To book, please give your name, preferably with a deposit, to any Committee member as soon as you can. Invite friends too, they'll be welcome.
