The lovely season of Advent prepares us for the wonderful celebration of the birth of Baby Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem - born to live and die to save us. A HAPPY, PEACEFUL, BLESSED CHRISTMAS to all our MEMBERS, RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.

When the year ends, we will sadly bid farewell to our home in the Earl Restaurant, which is closing then. We have another venue for 20l6, DV, not faraway - in Gardiner Place; full details in our next

bulletin. Help will be needed to transfer our “stuff” to our new address, and anyone who can assist will be welcome; please give your name to House Manager Tommy Ward as soon as possible.

We’ll have our CHRISTMAS PARTY on SAT DEC 5th, DV, and NEW YEAR PARTY on TUES DEC 29th, DV. Let’s make these last celebrations in our present premises as enjoyable as possible. To help cater, please give your name to a Committee member as soon as you can – preferably with a deposit. Invite your friends too, “the more the merrier”.
