Our Club events continue nightly on Saturdays and alternate Thursdays in the EARL RESTAURANT, 26 North Earl St., where you can savour meals, snacks, coffee, tea and scrumptious cakes daily from 8am to 5.30pm.



OUR ANNUAL BUS OUTING is to take place on SUNDAY JULY l2TH, DV. We leave at llam from the Earl. Our destination is the Vale of Avoca, where we will have a 4-course meal near the “Meeting of the Waters”, beside the site of “Thomas Moore’s Tree”, where he wrote the words for one of his best-known “Melodies”. Later we will head for Glendalough, where we hope to survey more lovely scenery, and have an evening picnic or other refreshments. BRING COMFORTABLE SHOES, AND, IF YOU LIKE, YOUR CHOICE OF PICNIC FOOD. The costis E35, same as in recent years. TO BOOK, PLEASEGIVE YOUR NAME TO ANY COMMITTEE MEMBER, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, preferably with a deposit. YOUR FRIENDS WILL BE VERY WELCOME TOO. OUR WEEKEND BREAK IN AUGUST IS BEING PLANNED TOO.SUGGESTIONS FOR VENUES WILL BE RECEIVED WITH INTEREST BY THE COMMITTEE.THE ANNIVERSARY MASS FOR EILEEN AND MARTIN COEN WILL BE on SATURDAY JULY llTH at 6.30pm in HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH, GREENHILLS, WALKINSTOWN, DUBLIN l2.
