'Tis the merry month of May'. We look forward to the warmth and sunshine of summer and longer days and evenings to enjoy them, D.V. We continue our schedule of activities in our new venue in 26 North Earl Street (the EARL RESTAURANT by day), and we hope to see more and more members and friends coming to avail of our fine facilities in our spacious new home right in the city centre.
The club's traditional MAY'BRING and BUY' SAKE is planned for SAT 24th - the "Post-January Sale" date didn't suitor some members, so perp has this occasion will prove more favourable for passing on those unwanted gifts and snapping up BARGAINS. BUY WHAT YOU LIKE, BRING WHAT OTHER MAY LIKE, all to help YOUR CLUB and spread the good news to your friends and acquaintances who may enjoy an evening out and "all the fun if the fair".
Goods for the Sale may be left in it the EARL in advance, and will be greatefukky received by the Committee.
Venues for our ANNUAL BUS OUTING in June are being considered; all suggestions will be welcomed by the Committeee - as soon as possible, please. This has been a very pleasant trip for many years; we look forward to hearing your ideas.
