As the Club lease of premises in Parnell Square West expires, we ring down the curtain on 25 years of exciting events, stage show and many other kinds of entertainments there- not forgetting the Club's previous 18 years in other venues. We recall wonderful friendships formed over those years, and several members' marriages. like the 2-headed god Janus, after whom January is named, we look forward also to what's ahead.
The Committee is pleased to announce we will have the use of very central new premises- 26, North Earl St, the basement of The Earl Restaurant (a lovely venue for meals, coffee and cakes during the day). Some details are being finalised as we go to print. There will be a few changes to get use to, but with goodwill all round, we hope the future will be as good, or better, then the past, please God.
